Sarah Raven seeds France

Sarah Raven seeds

Earlier this week there was high excitement in my house when the seeds I’d ordered from Sarah Raven were delivered. Well, I was excited, Paul just sighed at the thought of even more pots and trays full of seeds appearing all over the house!

It’s the first time that I’ve ordered from Sarah Raven since moving to France and I’m happy to report that the service to France is just as good as it was when I used to order from her website back in the UK.

I’m sure you’ll all be familiar with Sarah from her numerous appearances on BBC Gardeners’ World and the articles she writes for the likes of The Daily Telegraph and Gardeners’ World magazine. Perhaps what you are not aware of is Sarah Raven’s amazing website which sells a wonderful range of seeds, bulbs and plants along with other gardening items.

If like me you live in France you’ll only be able to order seeds from her website, but trust me choosing from her seed selection alone is hard enough!

All the seeds on the Sarah Raven website are split into easy to navigate pages. The flower seeds are split into;

Half-hardy annuals

Hardy annuals

Perennials & biennials

Wild flower seeds

Cut flower mixes & meadows

Pollinator friendly seeds

The vegetable seeds are split into;

Vegetable seeds

Salad seeds

Herb & edible flower seeds

Companion planting seeds

Fruit seeds

To me Sarah is the quintessential English gardener, she looks every bit a lady and just loves having her hands in the dirt!

All the seeds that are for sale on her website are tried, tested and loved by Sarah, and to make sure that she sells only the most productive, tastiest, best looking seeds, bulbs and plants they are all trialed at her Perch Hill Farm. Only those that have stood the test of time make it onto the website. I don’t think you can ask for a better assurance of quality than that!

All the seeds on the website have lovely descriptions and detailed growing guides, so you know exactly what to expect. Delivery of seeds to France costs only £6.95 and with your order you also receive an informative booklet on how to sow the seeds.

I wholeheartedly recommend you take a look at the Sarah Raven website and sign up to her blog posts. The only thing I ask is that, when you spend a fortune on all the wonderful seeds available, you don’t tell your other half that it was my fault!

A bientôt

    I wonder if this is the same Sarah Raven whose delicious (and simple) recipe I found for apricot jam?
    Thanks for the info on seeds; very useful.
