It’s amazing how little tweets can spark ideas. This morning I was having a little natter with @sarahbeattiegra on Twitter about wild flowers which followed on from my blog post yesterday about wild flowers in France and bing, a little light came on in my brain!
I’d like to start recording your sightings of wild flowers and wildlife around France throughout the year.
If you could all be kind enough to take photographs of anything you spot whilst out and about, plant or animal, whether you know what it is or not, and send me the photos along with as much information as you can including;
Date photograph was taken
Where it was taken
What it is (if you know) in English and/or French
From this information I’ll start to log a picture of wild France so that we can all benefit from each others knowledge. Don’t worry if you see something interesting but don’t know what it is – I’m sure someone will!
Please send photographs and information to katherine@jardin-perdu.com and I’ll sort everything else out. Any photographs posted will be displayed with full details of who the information came from.
Please get photographing, no matter how common something is, it would be great to have a full picture of what is living out there with us.
Thank you in advance for your help, I can’t do it without you!
A bientôt
Katherine x

Fabulous idea – happy for you to post a request on my website if you would like to? There are many other Guide2s in France and I am sure they would help too. Alison
